It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that I acknowledge the tragic and unfortunate incident that led to the untimely death of young Paul Destiny Victor, a 16-year-old student of Urban Development Secondary School, Owerri, who hailed from Orlu. As a mother, I share in the grief and anguish of his family, friends, and the entire Imo community. No child deserves to have their life cut short in such a painful and unjust manner. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones as they navigate this unimaginable loss. His Excellency, the Governor of Imo State, Dist. Senator Hope Uzodimma , CON, is fully aware of this heartbreaking incident and has swiftly taken action to ensure that justice is served. I can confirm that the suspect, Barr. Donald, has been arrested, and we will not rest until justice prevails. I stand with the mothers of Orlu, the mothers of Imo, and the mothers of our Nation in demanding justice for Paul Destiny Victor. Every child deserves to feel safe, protected, and valued. We must work together to ensure that such a tragedy never happens again in our dear State. I assure the people of Imo State that we will follow this case closely, and we will do everything within our power to ensure that justice is not denied. May Paul Destiny Victor’s soul rest in perfect peace, and may God grant his family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
