Today, my office played host to the Chairpersons of the 27 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the State, who paid a courtesy visit. The group, led by Mrs. Uloma Adikibe of Oru West LGA, expressed their appreciation for the good and transformative work being carried out in Imo State under the 3R Government of my husband, His Excellency, Dist. Sen. (Dr.) Hope Uzodimma, CON.

The Chairpersons of Isiala Mbano and Mbaitoli LGAs, Rev. Mrs. Okoroike P. Uchenna and Mrs. Gertrude Lebechi Nwanegwo, spoke separately, commending the impactful initiatives of my office, particularly in empowering women, supporting girls, and uplifting the less privileged in Imo State.

In my response, I expressed gratitude for their visit and used the opportunity to encourage them to take their roles seriously. I emphasized the importance of instilling values in their children, as the lessons learned at home remain lifelong. Additionally, I urged them to extend love and co-operation toward one another to foster unity among themselves. I also reminded them of their duty to deliver the dividends of governance to their respective localities. Their positions are not just honourary titles but significant responsibilities that demand commitment and action.

In conclusion, I thanked them once again for the visit and expressed my willingness to collaborate with them, especially in reaching out to the grassroots.
