On the last Sunday of the year, my family and I attended Mass at our home parish, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Ozuh-Omuma, Oru East LGA, to commemorate the Feast of the Holy Family. During the homily, the priest reminded us of the vital role families play in shaping the fabric of our society. He emphasized that the family is both the center and foundation of society; the fundamental unit where values and morals are passed down. The priest encouraged us to nurture and strengthen our family bonds, supporting one another as we strive for holiness.

As the year draws to a close, let us reflect on the countless blessings our families provide and the irreplaceable love and support they offer, and pray for the continued strength and unity of our families.
