Earlier today, I delivered a goodwill message at the opening session of the maiden International Women's Day (IWD 2021) conference of the Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF) via Zoom Webinar.

The event, with the theme, “The pathway to diversity: Challenging Blind Spots and Powering up for Inclusion” is being curated to acknowledge the unique roles women play in global development and to also challenge the status quos, so that positive change can come forthwith.

This is consistent with the NBAWF’s mandate of addressing matters affecting the legal practice of Nigerian female lawyers and the wellbeing of women in Nigeria and globally.

The event will highlight other distinguished speakers and guests of various professions, who will take turns to espouse on topical issues critical to women in the legal practice and other spheres of life's endeavours.

It was highly impactful and engaging. Therefore, I enjoin all concerned individuals who are opportune to be part of it.
