I participated in the Women At The Hub Event at the Permanent Mission of Uganda to the United Nations in New York on September 23, 2024, alongside colleagues from the Nigeria Governors' Spouses Forum, where we discussed the theme "Sustainable Future For All."

I shared the initiatives we have implemented in Imo State to empower women and girls, resulting in increased economic independence, improved health outcomes, and greater participation in governance. I outlined strategies to further these efforts, including partnerships with government, NGOs, and the private sector; expanding support to vulnerable women; policy advocacy for gender equality; and implementing strong monitoring and evaluation systems.

These strategies aim to build a more inclusive and equitable society where women play a key role in Imo State's sustainable development.
