The journey of the last 365 days and about, started with the restoration of the mandate handed Imo people through the chief servant, His Excellency, Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma.

All through the electioneering campaign processes, through to the legal fireworks which brought about the shared prosperity administration enjoy today in Imo State, I did not nurse the minutest doubt of a truism that Ndị Imo will be better for it.

I thank God, Most Gracious, for the gift of today. Hence, the interdenominational Church Service to mark Gov. Uzodimma's one year in office which we were all witnesses to.

No doubt, the last one year has been filled with its ups and downs, no thanks to the novel Coronavirus pandemic which ravaged the lives and livelihoods of many and leaving global economic melt down in the wake of it. But through it all, we are all conquerors.

Through it all, the Governor has continued navigate through the ugliest economic and financial terrains, bequeathing massive reconstructions, rehabilitations and recoveries in and around the State through the popular 3R-agenda.

I thank all those who defied various inconveniences to make it to the Dan Anyiam Stadium - our spiritual, political leaders, top government functionaries, Ndị Imo in their numbers.

I am full of gratitude for the honour done to my husband and may God, in his infinite mercies, bless you all.
