Yesterday, I had the honour of welcoming my esteemed colleagues, the First Ladies of Ogun, Lagos, Osun, Ebonyi, and Bayelsa States: H.E. Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun; H.E. Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu; H.E. Chief (Mrs.) Titilola Adeleke; H.E. Chief (Mrs.) Uzoamaka Mary-Maudline Ogbonna Nwifuru; and H.E. Dr. (Mrs.) Gloria Diri, on their visit to Imo State. Together, we paid a courtesy call on my husband, the Executive Governor of Imo State, H.E. Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON.

Our visit was in appreciation of his support for the successful hosting of the Southern Governors' Wives Forum Meeting and the August Meeting Grand Finale, as well as for his recognition of the contributions of women in Imo State.

It was a pleasure to have my colleagues and sisters experience the warmth and hospitality of Imo State, the Eastern Heartland, and we deeply value the Governor's ongoing commitment to advancing women’s initiatives. We look forward to continued collaboration in promoting the empowerment of women.
