The opening of the 24th National Women’s Conference, organized by the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO) at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, was a transformative event dedicated to empowering women to break barriers and make significant societal contributions.

The conference covered a broad spectrum of topics, including health, societal challenges, welfare, and environmental issues. Key discussions ranged from strategies for preventing communicable diseases to addressing gender stereotypes and fostering emotional intelligence in boys, offering attendees practical insights and actionable guidance.

This impactful event provided a platform for learning, networking, and inspiration. I commend the organizers, led by the First Lady of Lagos State, Her Excellency Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, for their dedication to this cause. I am confident that the conference will continue to fulfill its mission of empowering women and enhancing their impact on society.
