On Saturday, September 7th, 2024, I had the honour of launching the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) Recapitalization Grants in Owerri, Imo State. This initiative, generously sponsored by Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, First Lady of Nigeria, aims to empower 1,000 women entrepreneurs from Imo State by providing them with critical funding to support their small businesses.

The RHI Economic Empowerment Programme is strategically designed to stimulate economic growth, improve livelihoods, and reduce poverty among low-income families nationwide. In addition to the grants, we also distributed essential food items, including bags of rice and bales of clothing, to vulnerable groups such as widows, orphanage homes, and other indigents in Imo State.

I am confident that the beneficiaries of this support will utilize these resources wisely, with faith, patience, and resilience, to drive positive change in their lives and communities.

I extend my sincere appreciation to Nigeria's First Lady, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON, for her total commitment to sharing the benefits of the RHI with Imo State, and for her dedication to empowering women and improving lives across Nigeria.
