It was devastating to learn of the passing of Chief Sir Engr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu CFR, President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, after a brief illness.

Chief Iwuanyanwu's legacy as a distinguished statesman, leader, and philanthropist will forever be remembered. A titan of industry, politics, and community leadership, he made an indelible mark on Nigeria. Renowned for his patriotism and defense of his people, Chief Iwuanyanwu was a colossus whose impact on the public will forever be etched in gold. A Pan-Nigerian icon, his loss is deeply mourned by the State, the Igbo nation, and the entire country.

May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace, Amen. I pray that God grants his dear wife, Chief Mrs. Frances Iwuanyanwu and the entire Iwuanyanwu family the fortitude to bear the grief and pain.
