As part of the Renewed Hope Initiative, a social intervention program led by the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON, women empowerment is a key focus. On July 25, 2024, I represented the First Lady at the launch of the Huawei Renewed Hope Initiative Women in Tech Skill Training Program for the Southeast Region, held at Imo State University, Owerri. In her address, the First Lady highlighted the vast potential within women and girls, emphasizing that by providing them with advanced training and mentorship, we are securing a brighter future for both them and the nation. The acquired skills will enable them to assume leadership roles, develop innovative solutions, and drive economic growth.

The Huawei RHI Women in Tech Skill Training Program goes beyond technical skills; it aims to build confidence, resilience, and a sense of community. It acknowledges the unique perspectives, voices, and talents of each woman, fostering an environment where they can support one another, share experiences, and celebrate achievements.

Following the flag-off event, I visited the Faculty of Law at Imo State University, my alma mater, and engaged with staff and students.
