Yesterday, at the Women of Divine Destiny Initiative (WODDI) Inspired Women Summit in Owerri, I addressed a gathering of women, urging them to make a meaningful impact on their generation. The summit was attended on my behalf by the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu UNJP. I commended the vision bearer of WODDI, Her Excellency Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha, for her commendable initiative.
Reflecting on the theme, "Illuminating the Power of Inspired Women," I emphasized the importance of women uncovering and leveraging their hidden talents to make a lasting positive impact on both their current and future generations. The event was attended by several distinguished dignitaries, including the former Governor of Imo State, Senator Owelle Rochas Okorocha, the former Vice Chancellor of Imo State University, Professor Adaobi Obasi, and the former Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs. Ngozi Njoku.
I encouraged participants to take advantage of the experienced speakers invited to the summit, which runs from May 28th to June 1st, 2024, and is dedicated to inspiring women to embrace and illuminate their inherent power to positively impact their communities and the world.
