With great pleasure, I attended the luncheon hosted by Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON, the First Lady of Nigeria, for members of the Organization of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD) in Abuja on May 14, 2024. The event highlighted the crucial role African women play in maintaining territorial integrity and promoting peaceful coexistence. Nigeria's First Lady emphasized the importance of First Ladies in Africa taking the lead in key areas such as child and family care, expressing hope that OAFLAD could drive positive change across the continent.

In solidarity, the African First Ladies shared their experiences and reaffirmed their dedication to advancing Pan-Africanism and fostering the development of Africa.
