On this sacred anniversary of the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, the wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas Day Mass held at our home church, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Parish, Ozuh-Omuma, Oru East LGA, resonated profound words from Isaiah 52:7-10 which echoed the proclamation of peace and salvation. Just as the angels heralded the good news to the shepherds, today's sermon served as a reminder of the enduring significance of this miraculous birth.

As my dear family, friends, well-wishers and I reflected on the divine significance of the day, the Bible readings illuminated the majesty of Christ and the radiant expression of God's love for humanity.

During the yuletide, let us carry forward the spirit of love and compassion. May this Christmas be a reaffirmation of the enduring values that bind us together as a community.
