Amidst the resurgence of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country in general and Imo State in particular, I enjoin us to adhere to all the COVID-19 safety measures as recommended by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

With the holiday season fast approaching and in the spirit of the yuletide, I urge us to ensure to keep our homes, event centres, markets and indeed other public spaces safe of the dreaded Coronavirus.

We must always wear our face masks, wash our hands thoroughly, practice social distancing, use alcohol-based hand sanitizers and keep other safety measures to stay alive and healthy.
