Today, I celebrate the incredible young individuals in our community for being hard workers and having an entrepreneurial spirit. When I spoke with some members of the National Association of Imo State Students who are responsible for overseeing Imo State students within and outside the state during their visit on July 27, 2023, I was impressed to know that they are engaged in different businesses to fund themselves.

The group which was led by President Comrade Paul Miracle Eberechi appreciated the governor for fulfilling his mandate for the education sector, especially for converting Alvan Ikokwu College of Education to a Federal University and also upgrading the Federal Medical Center to University Teaching Hospital.

After explaining how much of an impact they have received like rapid enrollment for their Youth Service instead of waiting for two years among other benefits, the group unanimously endorsed, my dear husband, His Excellency Dist Sen Hope Uzodimma for a second term.

As we further discussed, they shared the plight of Imo State Students across the globe and also the need for a female football competition to help unite Imo students across the country within the State, without hesitation, I offered to assist. Their genuine care for themselves not only fosters a sense of belonging but also exemplifies the power of collective action.

I expressed my gratitude for their visit and encouraged them to remain good ambassadors of the State.
