Yesterday, I joined the exceptional women of the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA) as the First Lady of Nigeria, H.E Dr. (Mrs.) Aisha Buhari inaugurated two projects; the upgraded Hajia Maryam MD Abubakar Youth & Skills Acquisition Center at Deidei Barracks and the renovated National Secretariat Complex at Mambilla Barracks, Abuja.

One of the main reasons why I am an avid supporter of the youth is because I believe they are the future leaders, businesspeople, and social change agents of our society so we must give them the tools, chances, and support they require to achieve success.

I applaud the wife of the Inspector-General of Police and President of POWA, Hajia Hajara Alkali-Baba, for her giant contributions, the sponsors and members present at the event for working on these projects to better enhance the welfare and entrepreneurial needs of the police family.

I urge everyone regardless of their status in society to keep supporting and investing in the future generation so they can realize their full potential.

The Inspector-General of Police, National Presidents of NAOWA, NOWA, NAFOWA, and DEPOWA, as well as other Special Guests, attended the wonderful ceremony.
