On April 17, 2023, at the 9th Match between African Champions, Nigeria's Super Falcons and New Zealand, in Antalya, Turkey, our women performed flawlessly and came out triumphant.

What a victory! I am extremely proud of them and I commend the entire Team for their efforts in making this happen, especially the Skipper, Onome Ebi @onosky5, Jennifer Echegini, and Imo State's very own daughters, Chiamaka Nnadozie @nnadozie_chiamaka and Desire Oparanozie @desireoparanozie.

It is a great honour that the win by the duo, Desire Oparanozie and Chiamaka Nnadozie was dedicated to me.

Once again, congratulations. Wishing our Super Falcons the best of luck in their next game.
