In my honour, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups, Hon. (Mrs.) Nkechinyere Ugwu, participated in the lovely 2023 Mother's Day Celebration at the Cathedral Church of The Transfiguration of Our Lord (CATOL) Women Ministry, Owerri.

The occasion through the theme, “Transforming the family, church, and society through Godly teaching”, once again reminded us that mothers are special gifs from God whose vital roles in the family, society, and the church cannot be overemphasized.

I am proud of how our Christian mothers have consistently provided for one another in the ministry with financial, spiritual, and physical assistance. It demonstrates the deep regard they have placed on each other and also highlights to outsiders how critical it is for everyone to have trustworthy friendships and family members nearby.

My gratitude goes out to the leaders for constantly keeping me updated about the community’s projects and outreach programs. I am equally grateful for the "Enyi Oma Puru Iche Ndi CATOL" award that was presented to me. I pray that we would all continue to experience serenity, good wisdom, knowledge, and understanding from the Lord God. Amen.
