The National Council for Women Societies (NCWS) paid me a courtesy visit in Abuja on February 8, 2023.

The group, which was led by their National President, Hajiya Lami Adamu Lau, expressed their sincere gratitude to my office for our work in promoting women's rights and gender equality in Imo State through strategic programmes and interventions.

Hajiya Lami in her speech revealed that the Imo State Chapter had shared outstanding reports with them at the national level and they had to acknowledge the enormous strides the Government had made. They accomplished this by naming me Imo State Patron for the Council while presenting me an Award of Excellence.

I extend my gratitude to the NCWS Executives in attendance during the conferment, especially the National President, for the distinction the Council conferred upon me.
