The Government of Imo State @govtofimostate in collaboration with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) hosted the 2022 State Christmas Carol Service themed, “Celebrate Christ: The Messiah”, yesterday.

The glorious event, which held at the Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu Square, Owerri had the Executive Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, the Judiciary, top IMSG officials, House of Assembly members, Traditional Rulers, numerous Christian Denominations and Spiritual/Clergy, among other dignitaries praying and singing beautiful hymns to the Lord.

Several uplifting and powerful renditions were delivered by gospel artists such as: Sir Jude Nnam, Chioma Jesus @officialchiomajesus, Mercy Chinwo @mercychinwo, Mr. M and Revelation @mystermiracle and the Imo State Government House Choir.

We celebrate Christmas to rejoice over the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the son of God. The season allows us to express our appreciation and thankfulness to God Almighty for his numerous blessings upon us.
