On December 21, 2022, I had the pleasure of receiving again to my office, the talented goalkeeper of the Super Falcons of Nigeria and Paris FC, Chiamaka C. Nnadozie @nnadozie_chiamaka, the brilliant female footballer who plays as a forward in the Chinese Women’s Super League for Wuhan Jianghan University and the Nigerian National Team, Desire Oparanozie @desireoparanozie. They were both accompanied by Mr. Ndukaihe MaCharles, a female football Promoter / Sports Reporter with Darling FM and Glory Iwunor, Oparanozie's Manager.

Together, we discussed extensively female sports and how to encourage younger ones. I was impressed by their passion, especially for helping young girls in the State develop their football talents. It was also a proud moment for me to know that Imo State has 60 percent of female footballers playing in different countries all over the world.

It is my utmost desire to see them grow more and for more young girls to be nurtured into discovering their talents as this will in the long run promote our State.

I advised them to keep the flag flying with the optimistic and resilient Nigerian spirit we all carry as they continue to aim for greater accomplishments.
