The Women Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (WOWICAN), Imo State Conference was held on December 2, 2022 in Owerri and I was represented by the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups, Hon. Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu.
On my behalf, she urged the women to make a difference, work to empower others, enhance the safety and stability of their communities, as well as exhibit tremendous behavior that inspires those around them both inside and outside of the church.
She further charged the women to keep showing traits of obedience, submissiveness, graciousness, and worshipfulness even in difficult circumstances so that God can use them to impact the world like He used faith-filled Martha, courageous Esther, strong Abigail, powerful Deborah, devoted Anna, and immaculate Mary, amongst others.
Thereafter, she extended my generous donation towards the programs and activities of the organization and reassured them of the 3R Administration's efforts in empowering women and girls in every field, regardless of their age, location, or industry.
At the end of the conference, I was honoured with an award for the role my office has played relentlessly in assisting and advocating for the vulnerable and oppressed in the State. I remain optimistic that the boldness, knowledge, skills, and resources our women need to be impactful in society and raise more powerful women would be bestowed upon them. Amen.

Korie, Chairman Imo State CAN, Rev. Eches Divine Eches, Chairman of South East Ministers of Nigeria Rev. Dr. Benneth Geoffery, The Pentecostal Fellowship Women Wing Coordinator - Dr. Mrs. Henrietta Jacobs, and a host of other religious leaders and dignitaries.
