On November 25, 2022, I invited Ugomma Eleanya, an indigene of Orji in Owerri North L.G.A, Imo State to fulfill the promise I made after approving her appeal for financial support.

In her letter, she had requested financial assistance to cover the burial expenses of her late mother who had been murdered by unknown gunmen at her place of business. We reached out to her in good time to comfort her and also promised to assist in any business or trade of her choice as soon as the funeral was concluded.

During Ugomma Eleanya's recent visit, she shared her gratitude for the support she had received and narrated the tragic story of her mother's murder. My team and I once again offered her our condolences, and we urged her to convey the same to the rest of her family.

She insisted on continuing her late mother's profitable venture to support her family and I found her determination commendable. Thereafter, I charged her to keep being a pillar of strength for her family and law-abiding citizen by continuing to be focused on the business.

I fervently pray that the Lord would support and comfort the Eleanya family during this tough time.
