On November 25, 2022, members of LAWSA Imo State University 2009 Graduating Set residing in *Imo State paid a visit to my office.

The group led by His Worship Martina Uzoamaka Onyirioha, tendered their appreciation to the 3R Administration for all the good things done in the State, especially my office’s actions in making sure the Violence Against Persons Prohibition (VAPP) bill was signed into law.

In their gratitude, they expressed how the law had provided succor to a vast majority of indigenes of Imo State who have suffered some form of violence without being compensated.

They also commended my office for showing notable dexterity in encouraging the people of Imo State to be good ambassadors of the State, the collaboration between the Ministry of Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups, visitations to several hospitals and settling bills of patients, for organizing advocacy walks on the elimination of violence against women, among other activities.

It was a fun moment as we discussed the way forward for women, I am sure that the visit left unforgettable memories in our hearts.
