Earlier today, the Executive Members and Bloc Leaders of the Women Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (WOWICAN), paid a courtesy visit to my office.

The organization, established by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) with a mission to unite, educate, enlighten, encourage, empower and represent all Christian Women in Imo State regardless of their denomination enumerated some of their achievements from the past year.

These include holding prayer meetings for the State's peace, organizing empowerment programs for indigent women, sensitizing women on health-related issues and enlightening women and girls in maintaining and defending their integrity and rights, among others.

The group also seized the opportunity to appreciate my office for the collaborative efforts carried out in empowering the organization and other women across Imo State. They also appreciated the 3R Administration's attention to their parent body.

Thereafter, they extended an invitation to me for their upcoming convention and shared their itinerary for the event. I felt truly honoured when they awarded me as "Mother In The Land" and shared my gratitude with the entire team.

I further appreciated them for their visit, commended their efforts, and encouraged them to keep the fire of prayers burning.
