In collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and the affiliate State Ministry, my office empowered several women across the 27 Local Government Areas of Imo State with cooking burners on November 15, 2022.

The Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development distributed the cylinders to selected States, as a way of reiterating its commitment to improving the standards of living for women and indigent widows in grassroots communities.

My representative, the Imo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups, Hon. Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu @hon_nkechinyereugwu, conveyed my gratitude to the dignitaries present for their support in reviewing and approving Imo State as a beneficiary of the distribution of the gas cylinders and also to other individuals who joined to commemorate the event with us.

The 3R Administration has continued to demonstrate its commitment to accepting and encouraging inclusive agenda that ensures peace, prosperity, and progress in Imo State. May peace and growth continue to reign in our midst. Amen.
