Earlier today, I delivered an address at the Opening Ceremony of the 2022 International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Imo Week themed “A CONSUMMATE FIDAN”.

This year's theme accurately describes what it is to be a proud and spirited member of FIDA.

As their accomplishments and vision from over the years were being reviewed, I was overjoyed that we could attribute such incredible achievements to the great women of Imo State.

I shared my gratitude to them, especially to the founder of FIDA Imo and the first Chairperson of Fida Imo, His Worship Rtd., Roseline Wilson, for the organization's growth, determination, and diligence.

I further urged other supervisors present to keep doing the good work as an institute is only as good as its leaders and I'm proud ours has been filled with competent ones.

Afterwards, I was recognized as one of the organization's Statutory Matrons of FIDA, Imo State Chapter, an honour I am truly delighted and grateful for. I look forward to working closely with them for years to come.

The FIDA opening ceremony was indeed a meticulously organized, well-attended, incredibly impactful, and highly successful event as I found myself impressed by the wonderful FIDA products on sale stands at the venue.

I wish them the best for the rest of the events scheduled for the week.
