Yesterday, November 11, 2022, I received the Police Officers' Wives Association (POWA) on a visit to my office.

The Chairperson of the association who was represented by the wife of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations) led other executives on the courtesy visit.

They appreciated the Government of Imo State and also my office for all the good deeds and achievements recorded, especially concerning women, girls, and youths in the State and also to them as Police Wives.

However, they also presented their challenges with regard to renovations and the rehabilitation of the access roads to the barracks. I shared some of the works the Governor had accomplished particularly, for the wives of the fallen heroes.

Thereafter, I thanked them for coming and also appreciated the efforts of their husbands in helping to make sure there is peace and tranquility in Imo State.

I further encouraged them to consistently talk to their children and wards to desist from any form of evil involvement and to be good ambassadors of Imo State.
