Over the years, the Niger Delta Grassroots Women have maintained a reputation of being a group of dedicated and committed women geared towards creating awareness and sensitization projects to draw women's support for government programs.

On November 3, 2022, the group paid a courtesy visit to my office to appreciate the fulfillment of the promises of the Shared Prosperity Administration.

In attendance among the beautiful women were the Imo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups, Hon. Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu and the group's State Coordinator, Princess Chinwe Njoku.

The women expressed their heartfelt gratitude for always being included, as well as the Governor's exemplary leadership, particularly on the recent intervention in assisting victims of the unfortunate flooding that affected some areas in the State.

They assured me of their unalloyed support and worthy comrade by decorating me as their grand patron. My gratitude goes out to them for their unyielding loyalty over the years.
