It was indeed a pleasure hosting His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR after he declared open the three-day conference and retreat organized for Senior Officers of the Nigerian Police today, October 31, 2022 at Landmark Event Center, Owerri.

The conference themed "The Imperative of a Nigerian Police Strategic Plan For Peaceful Election" had in attendance Security Chiefs, State Governors across the Federation, Ministers, Heads of Government Agencies, among other notable dignitaries and aims to provide the Nigerian Police with the essential knowledge to carry out their duties effectively and more efficiently during the 2023 General Elections.

I remain optimistic that as our leaders make plans to ensure a fair and peaceful election process in 2023, their efforts will not be in vain.
