After carefully reviewing my office’s humanitarian efforts and contributions towards the girl child and vulnerable persons in Imo State, I was honoured with the 2022 SRTV/NTA MISS INTELLIGENCE/GIRL CHILD AWARD of the Most Outstanding First Lady in Nigeria at Sheraton Hotel Abuja.

I am extremely gratified about this recognition and will without a doubt continue to advance the cause of the girl child, women and vulnerable within and outside the State.

The award which was received by my representative, Hon. Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu @hon_nkechinyereugwu, Imo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups on Sunday, September 25, 2022 was organized by Daddy Kris, the MD/CEO of SRTV London and his affiliates.

Accompanying her was Rt. Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha @miriam_onuoha, Member Representing Okigwe North at the Federal House of Representatives, and Hon. Amb. (Mrs.) Ginika Tor, Commissioner Representing Enugu State at the Federal Character Commission. Also present was Dr. Ruth Aguele of NTA, who was also the Master of Ceremony for the day.

Aside presentation to other awardees: Former Minister of Women Affairs - HE Hajo Sani @dr.hajosani, CEO NIDCOM - Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri Erewa @abikedabiri, Pad Up Africa, Hon. Lady Ugwu, Amb. Felix Johnson Osakwe @ambfelixosakwe, Dr. Ifeoma A. Anyanwutaku, the event featured traditional performances, clothing exhibitions, a Miss Intelligence Nigeria 2022 competition which was won by Miss Anambra State and speeches on the empowerment of women and the girl child.
