Earlier today, I celebrated with various Imo women from the 233 communities in the Owerri Zone at the Grand Finale of their annual August Meeting celebration.

I am delighted that the dignified presence and remarkable conduct of our women in building our State and fostering good synergy between their respective homes and the larger society are celebrated through this August Meeting.

As an advocate for our women, I understand how their positive impact and contributions have greatly attributed to the peace and emerging prosperity in their communities.

During the event, I encouraged the women present to continue to remain supportive of themselves in providing helping hands to one another and offering their wisdom and support to their husbands, the State, the Nation, and the world at large.

I commend all the leaders of Owerri Zone, 9 SOLADs and Prince Dr. Alex Mbata, the Imo East APC Senatorial candidate and convener of the event, for his vast contributions and words of encouragement during the Owerri Zone Grand Finale.

Celebrating with us at the event were my beloved husband H.E Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma @he_hopeuzodimma, the Deputy Governor, H.E. Prof. Placid Njoku along with his amiable wife - H.E. Dr. Bola Njoku, former Deputy Governor of Imo State - H.E. Chief Dr. Ada Okwuonu, Wife of the Chief of Staff, IMSG - Engr. Oby Anyaehie, Wife of the SSG, Imo State - Dr. Pat Iwu, and host of Government officials and dignitaries.

One of my favorite moments during the Grand finale event of the Owerri Zone August Meeting was the privilege of taking the salute during the match pass of women from various communities and Local Government Areas in the Zone.
