It was an honour for the Imo State Government to welcome yesterday, His Eminence Peter Cardinal Okpaleke, who had just received the Red Hat from His Holiness, Pope Francis, at the Consistory in Rome.

After his return from Rome, His Eminence conducted his first Holy Mass in Government House Chapel, Owerri, last night and delivered a powerful sermon filled with faith and encouragement for the good people of our dear State.

Following the service, my husband @he_hopeuzodimma and I entertained His Eminence to a delightful dinner at the Government House, Owerri.

His Eminence has been given the capability to serve humanity in this new position, and the Lord Almighty will continue to sustain him to fulfill that role.
