< Throughout last week, I watched several dignitaries and Government representatives come together to celebrate the legacy of an extraordinary geriatric statesman who has had a significant impact on various individuals, communities, States, and even the Nation.

I strongly believe powerful people should leave unforgettable marks in the hearts of people by influencing several lives for the better and the unprecedented and ever-enthusiastic Chief (Dr.) Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Iwuanyanwu has proven to be nothing short of remarkable in doing so.

He has the State's utmost respect and honor for his life and enormous contributions to the Igbo community.

Today, my husband @he_hopeuzodimma and I had the privilege and pleasure of rejoicing with his family, friends, along with distinguished guests as he marked the Thanksgiving celebration of his 80th Birthday at the Cathedral Church of Transfiguration of Our Lord (CATOL), Owerri.

The standard of excellence for those of us present to continue to learn from his accomplishments and act in ways that touch our people for the progress of our beloved State and wonderful Nation, has undoubtedly been established by this golden occasion.
