In recognition of the significant support, empowerment, and contributions made by my office to the Obiwuruotu Umuapu Women Association, I was presented with the Award of Grand Patron during their August meeting held at the Civic Center hall, Catholic premises in Umuapu Ohaji on Saturday, August 27, 2022.

In accepting the award on my behalf, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups, Hon. Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu expressed my gratitude and urged everyone to keep up the good work. Hon. Ugwu also made a donation on my behalf in support of the Women's Civic Center Hall, built by the association for their community.

My sincere gratitude goes to Lolo Felicia Chukwu, the President General of the Association and Chief Lady Nneoma Margaret Amadi (LSM), the Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, for their unwavering support and prayers to the 3R Government.

Furthermore, I acknowledge the presence of other dignitaries; HRH Eze Boniface Ihueze, Mrs. Chinwe Nwokeji, and Chief Mrs. Julie Egbo, among others who were also present at the ceremony.

Highlights of the occasion were song and dance performances as well as award presentations by the women.
