It was a great pleasure celebrating with fellow women from my community on the occasion of hosting our first Annual August Meeting at our home church, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Ozuh Omuma, Oru East Local Government Area on Friday, August 12, 2022.

The church built by my dear husband, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma @he_hopeuzodimma, the Governor of Imo State, was raised to the status of a parish with Rev. Fr. Onwuanumkpe Uchenna Isaac as the Parish Priest, hence the double delight at the gathering. The church leaders shared their gratitude to the 3R Administration for its numerous works in Imo State and its commitment to caring for lmo women and vulnerable groups.

The congregation had in attendance, my representative, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups, Hon. Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu, my sister-in-law, Lady (Mrs.) Eziada Loveth Adaji, the President of CWO Association, Mrs. Mbiam Pauline Adaeze, the President of NCWS Oru East, the Secretary of NCWS Oru East, among others.

The highlight of the occasion was unveiling the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, presentation of a welcome song and dance performance by women groups to bring the event to a close.

I am filled with so much joy for the growth and unity among the women of my hometown and also grateful for their support. I pray that love grows and extends to every part of Ozuh Omuma community, Oru East LGA and Imo State at large.
