I am truly honoured to have been among the awardees decorated with the 2022 Award of Grand Matron by the Nigerian Girls' Guide Association, Imo State Branch.

I would like to sincerely share my gratitude to the Nigerian Girls' Guide Association for this award and also congratulate fellow awardees; the First Lady of Ondo State, Her. Excellency, Mrs. Betty Akeredolu, the Hon. Commissioner for Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups, Hon. Lady. Nkechinyere Ugwu, the NBA Vice Chairman Imo State among others.

Hon. Lady. Nkechinyere Ugwu, who went in my stead, urged the association to continue with its exemplary endeavours in supporting girl development and fighting against gender-based violence.

Afterwards, my office made a cash donation to the Girls Guide Association in support of their numerous visitations and programs to educate the girl-child. As assured, my office will continue to work collaboratively with various associations and organisations to create programs aimed at the development of the Girl - child in our dear Imo State.
