The two-day training program organized by NDLEA (@ndlea_nigeria) in alliance with the EU and UNODC (@unodcnigeria), ended today.
The interactive session had first ladies @ngw_forum, their representatives as well as participants, in discussion groups to draw everyone's opinion on identifying critical areas that require interventions and the way forward in implementing preventive measures at the State levels; of which the Imo State Commissioner Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups, Hon. Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu and Special Adviser on Media - Princess Anyaehie AA, participated diligently.
The Governors' wives were also awarded Special Ambassadors to War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) by the NDLEA. My rep. @hon_nkechinyereugwu received this award on my behalf and I pledge that the 3R Administration of my husband, H.E. Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma @he_hopeuzodimma will continue to do its best to fight against this wave of drug abuse in Imo State and my beloved country.
