I am delighted to have attended the Day-1 Drug Prevention, Treatment and Care Training Programme with fellow First Ladies (@ngw_forum) and Representatives from different States organized by NDLEA (@ndlea_nigeria) in collaboration with UNODC (@unodcnigeria) in Abuja.

The purpose of the seminar was to get better insight into how these global organizations, already fighting against drug abuse have had previous successes and how they can aid us with their wide range of resources to combat and restrict the illegal production, trafficking and use of narcotic substances in our various States.

As the NIGWF continues to have a physical sit down with other partners to evaluate all the pending projects it has during this two-day meeting, we will focus on ensuring our platform and goal consistently delivers on its promise to help alongside the leaders of our nation to create a better Nigeria.

The interactive forum had sessions that better informed and energized us on our objectives. I look forward to the rest of the meeting and the continued success of the NIGWF.
