Today, as we mark Democracy Day, it is my hope that the Nigerian spirit residing in every one of us keeps us patriotic, pushes us to keep being hopeful for her growth and above all, reminds us that amid challenges, building our nation is our collective duty.

As we continue to join our hands in making Nigeria great and keep working on the existing sacrifices of our heroes, I am confident their repudiations will not be in vain. Our devotion, especially those of the youth will build a peaceful, greater and an advanced nation; a new Nigeria, one we and our future generation will be proud of. Happy Democracy Day!
