Last night, I joined the First Lady of Nigeria, HE Aisha M. Buhari @aishambuhari and my colleagues at the Nigeria Governors' Wives Forum; @ngw_f, First Lady of Ekiti State, HE Erelu Bisi Fayemi @bisifayemi, the First Lady of Kwara State, HE Amb. Dr. Mrs. Olufolake Abdulrazaq @firstladykwara, the First Lady of Kebbi State, HE Dr. Zainab Bagudu @drzus, the First Lady of Osun State HE Mrs. Kafayat Oyetola @kafayatoyetolaofficial, and notable dignitaries across the Federation at Eagles Square, Abuja for the Presidential Primary Election of the All Progressive Congress (APC) 2022.

We all came out to show solidarity to the All Progressives Congress and support our dear husbands in the conduction of the primaries. Fortunately, at the end of the collation of the votes, the Former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, came victorious!

Nigeria is a great nation and she needs a diplomatic, experienced and competent leader to utilize its resources to make her the best in Africa. I strongly believe we can create a safer, greater and brighter future for our children and their children.

I commend all participants and aspirants involved in the election process particularly, my dear husband, HE Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma @he_hopeuzodimma who was the Chairman of the APC Special Convention and also Co-Chair of the Planning Committee of the Special Convention.

I was truly impressed by how each aspirant conducted themselves and I am optimistic that the trajectory set by the calmness of last night's election among the competent aspirants would set the tone for positive results for the party and the country as a whole.
