Today, my husband and I, along with other dignitaries and top Government functionaries gathered to pay our final respect at the funeral service of Late Senator Francis Arthur Nzeribe held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Oguta, Imo State.

Sen. Arthur Nzeribe was a great man, an advocate for the vulnerable and a brilliant leader across the State. His work with several groups and associations over the years has been remarkable. He will be missed but I am certain his legacy will carry on.

I strongly believe in years to come when the stories of how he lived are once again told, his lifestyle would be an incredible template for others to live by.

I pray his memories will be a blessing to the family he has left behind and that the Lord consoles them through this trying period. I also pray He grants the soul of the departed eternal rest, mercy and a place in heaven.
