Yesterday, at the St. Paul's Catholic Church, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups, Hon. Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu, Evangelist Mrs. Okoroike, and Mrs. Chinwe Nwokeji all represented me at the Mother's Day celebration service.

The mothers present were dressed up in beautiful apparels to celebrate the remarkable individuals that they are and also offer their Thanksgiving to God for all the miracles they have been blessed to experience.

I would like to appreciate the Catholic Women Organization of St. Paul's Catholic Church for bestowing me the Award of ‘Noble Mother’ during the service for all the humanitarian works my office has done towards women and children. I feel fortunate and I am deeply honoured by this recognition.

The Government of Imo State will continue to make life more meaningful for our mothers through the collaborative efforts of my office and the Ministry of Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups.
