Yesterday, I had the pleasure of having an iftar dinner with the First Lady of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Mrs. Aisha Buhari (@aishambuhari), together with the wife of the Vice President, Her Excellency, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, the former First Lady of the Republic of Niger, Dr. Lalla Malika Yousoufou, Wives of Parliamentarians, and other National Assembly Female Members at State House Conference Centre Abuja.

Her Excellency, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, hosted the dinner in honour of the Holy Month to encourage and remind us of the love and unity that exists among us. I was deeply honoured by the invitation and surely had an amazing time feasting with the wonderful women present.

During this Holy Month, I pray that God grants our Muslim brothers and sisters the resilience to stay strong as they continue in their fast.
