Yesterday, at the State House Conference Hall in Abuja, I joined my colleagues, the Nigerian Governors Wives, among other notable dignitaries for the official launch of the "Compendium of the Activities of the First Lady and Wives of Governors in Nigeria" 2015 to 2023.

The purpose of creating this compendium organized by the DG, National Centre for Women Development (NCWD), Hon. Dr. Asabe Vilita Bashir, was to highlight some of the outstanding projects achieved by the current administration in improving the lives of Nigerians. The Wife of the Vice President, H.E. Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, who represented the First Lady of Nigeria, H.E. Dr. Aisha Buhari, gave a captivating speech about the legacy the book publication hopes to achieve; which is to inspire future First Ladies and Women in Decision-making positions to complement Government efforts. Thereafter, the unveiling of the compendium was done.

I commend the initiative taken to put together this phenomenal event and I am sincerely proud of all that has been accomplished by my colleagues so far. I look forward to our continued success together.
