The 2021 State Christmas Carol Service themed, “Rejoice, Oh Imo State”, was held at the Government House Chapel, Owerri.

This year’s service, had various choirs and congregational members in attendance, praying and singing beautiful hymns to the Lord.

Following a set of powerful renditions, inspiring lessons of the significance of this season were shared by the Executive Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, etc.

At the end of the service, prayers of thanks and gratitude were offered to God Almighty by several Bishops, including the Archbishop of Owerri, Bishop Chukwuma Opara. The anniversary of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ has and always will be a spirited period.

As we continue to celebrate this season, may the joy of the Lord not elude us all. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance.
