The annual colourful Imo Thanksgiving Day Unto the Lord & Carol of 9 Lessons event coordinated by the Christian Association of Nigeria, Imo State Chapter where prayers and appreciation are offered to God for the upcoming festivities around the world was held yesterday, at the Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu Square.

A host of religious leaders were in attendance as we commemorated this year's event themed, “Jesus the Prince of Peace”. Thereafter, top gospel musicians; Chioma Jesus, Mercy Chinwo, and the Government House Chapel Choir performed, enthralling gospel performances that captivated the audience.

His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma, was later presented with a birthday gift and showered prayers by the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria. With prayers and thanksgiving, the event came to a glorious end. I am certa in our sincere gratitude would reach Almighty God, and His blessings would continue to be on our people and our land.
