A few days ago, the viral story a widow in Akpulu Ideato North, Imo State whose house was demolished by her late husband’s brother was brought to my attention. A representative from my office reached out to the widow in question to follow up on the case.

Thereafter, we involved the Traditional Ruler, Youth leader, and the President General of her community, to weigh in on the situation as this is a critical family matter. Nevertheless, my office will continue to follow up as events unfold to ensure both parties reach an amicable conclusion. I strongly believe in a few weeks, this issue will be completely sorted and peace restored to this family.
