The story of Mrs. Emelia Obilor, a widow from Luwe, Nneiri in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State was brought to my knowledge by the Chairperson of Isiala Mbanọ Local Government Area, Evangelist Uchenna Priscilla Okoroike, a few days after the Prayer Summit held in April 2021 on the Security of our State and Nation. Yesterday, Thursday the 7th of October 2021, I was pleased that the two-bedroom bungalow, as per her request, was commissioned in her Local Government Area.

Mrs. Emelia Obilor's overwhelming gratitude for her new accommodation delights me as the collaborative efforts carried out between my office, the Interim Management Chairman of Isiala Mbano, Prince Chika Okoroike and his wife, Evangelist Uchenna Priscilla Okoroike, proved beneficial to her and her household. I appreciate the efforts of the Interim Management Chairman who has my special thanks for taking exemplary steps to ensure this project was properly completed.

My sincere thanks also go out to the Town Union, the Women Leader, the Imo State Local Government Chairpersons, other appointees present and Honourable Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu, Commissioner for Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups for representing me. Your attendance at the event was greatly appreciated.

The goal of this gesture is to further reiterate our commitment and determination in providing for the vulnerable groups in the State. The plans of the Shared Prosperity Government which includes more projects like this will soon be actualized across all 27 Local Government Areas in Imo State.
